We are currently seeking 4 Assistant Brand Manager Students (Industrial Placement) to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple. Join their fast-paced FMCG environment. The position is based in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. This full-time, temporary role lasts for 12 months, with an ASAP start. It requires 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation is competitive, up to £26,107.50 per annum. The role offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to business needs.

Students must have completed the penultimate year of their undergraduate degree by the start of their placement and plan to return to study afterward. Our ABM Industrial Placements provide an opportunity to showcase your thinking and skills, bringing new ideas and perspectives, with full support from a line manager and a buddy.

To continue leading the category, we have openings for Student Assistant Brand Managers (Industrial Placement). These roles are part of the core marketing team, supporting brand, media, and innovation teams in deploying innovations and effective communication to make our brands stand out among UK consumers. Roles are available across brand, media, and innovation functions.

Day-to-day responsibilities could include:

  • Collaborating with media teams and external agencies on communication campaigns, media planning, and asset adaptation.
  • Supporting cross-functional colleagues in managing innovation production and deployment with major UK retailers.
  • Assisting shopper marketing teams in creating in-store and online brand experiences.
  • Executing sampling plans and in-store events.
  • Analyzing and reporting on brand and market performance.
  • Managing multi-million-pound budgets.
  • Monitoring competitors' activities.
  • Partnering with key account managers to generate sales opportunities.
