Responsibilities
- Lead installation, commissioning, servicing, fault-finding and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems on board ships and in shipyard settings.
- Oversee system build, testing and inspections, ensuring projects meet exacting marine standards.
- Deliver smooth handover processes and provide technical input during final commissioning stages.
- Support global project delivery, both on-site and remotely.
- Offer technical guidance to clients, engineers and project teams.
Qualifications
- Completed refrigeration apprenticeship or equivalent hands‑on industry experience.
- FGAS Category 1 qualification (essential).
- Solid background in HVAC and refrigeration engineering.
- Strong knowledge of system commissioning, controls and operational troubleshooting.
- Willingness to travel internationally and work in both shipyard and on‑board environments.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to obtain Security clearance.
