Responsibilities

  • Lead installation, commissioning, servicing, fault-finding and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems on board ships and in shipyard settings.
  • Oversee system build, testing and inspections, ensuring projects meet exacting marine standards.
  • Deliver smooth handover processes and provide technical input during final commissioning stages.
  • Support global project delivery, both on-site and remotely.
  • Offer technical guidance to clients, engineers and project teams.

Qualifications

  • Completed refrigeration apprenticeship or equivalent hands‑on industry experience.
  • FGAS Category 1 qualification (essential).
  • Solid background in HVAC and refrigeration engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of system commissioning, controls and operational troubleshooting.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work in both shipyard and on‑board environments.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to obtain Security clearance.
