An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established company renowned in the electrical testing and measurement industry. Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager Apprentice based on their customer site in Dover (Kent) This is a full-time, temporary role for 2 years. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week with early finish on Fridays, to start ASAP. The role is paying £11.40 per hour.
Role Summary
As a Project Manager Apprentice, you will support project planning, coordination, and communication to ensure smooth execution. This role provides hands-on experience in project management while preparing for future leadership opportunities.
Project Planning & Coordination

  • Support the Programme & Systems Manager and Project Manager with daily tasks.
  • Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and milestones.
  • Help coordinate tasks between different teams or departments.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a point of contact between teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and any necessary adjustments.
  • Organise and facilitate project meetings, preparing agendas and recording minutes.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify potential risks and work with project teams to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Track issues and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Assist in tracking project budgets and expenses.
  • Coordinate with teams to ensure proper resource allocation and utilisation.

Task & Performance Monitoring

  • Use project management tools (e.g., Jira, Celoxis, Reqsuit, etc) to track tasks and deliverables.
  • Ensure teams are on schedule and address any roadblocks affecting progress.

Quality Control & Compliance

  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
  • Help with compliance checks, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry standards.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare status reports, performance metrics, and post-project evaluations.
  • Maintain project documentation for future reference and audits.
