We are looking for a reliable Van Driver to join our team. This role involves a significant amount of heavy lifting, so applicants must be physically capable and comfortable with manual handling tasks as it can be a physically demanding role.
Responsibilities
- Driving a van to deliver goods across Yorkshire
- Loading and unloading items using ramps
- Carrying out heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Handling and delivering oil products, following all safety procedures
- Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and to a high standard
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks and keeping the van clean and roadworthy
- Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Physically fit and able to carry out heavy lifting
- Comfortable working with oil and related materials
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Good knowledge of Yorkshire road networks is desirable
- Ability to work day and evening shifts as required
