Purpose
To prepare, paint and finish access equipment and components to a high standard, ensuring a durable, professional appearance and protection of all surfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare machines and components by cleaning, sanding, masking and carrying out minor surface repairs.
- Mix and apply primers, topcoats and protective coatings using spray equipment, brushes and rollers.
- Ensure all work meets required quality standards for finish, colour match and coverage.
- Follow job cards and schedules to support efficient turnaround of equipment.
- Maintain painting equipment, spray guns and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Work safely at all times, following company health and safety procedures and using appropriate PPE.
What We Need From You
- Previous experience as an industrial painter, vehicle refinisher or painter & decorator.
- Confident using spray equipment and able to mix paints and coatings correctly.
- Good attention to detail and pride in delivering a high-quality finish.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a busy workshop team.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
