Manpower is recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation based in Grangemouth for an experienced Supply Chain Administrator. This is a long-term temporary opportunity with a strong chance of becoming permanent for the right candidate. This role would suit someone who is highly detail-oriented, confident working in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable engaging with multiple departments across the business. You will be joining a large, welcoming, and supportive team.
The Role
As a Supply Chain Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day supply chain and procurement operations. Using your strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, you will manage and respond to supply chain queries, support internal teams, and liaise with external partners to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and responding to supply chain and supplier-related queries
- Resolving supplier invoice issues and supporting account reconciliations
- Maintaining, cleansing, and updating master data within systems
- Generating reports, analytics, and KPI metrics to support decision-making
- Collaborating with procurement and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of supplies
- Investigating and resolving supply chain issues using data from multiple sources
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes and systems
- Assisting the department manager with additional duties as required
What We’re Looking For
- Fluency in English and educated to a higher level, including English and Mathematics
- Strong experience using SAP is essential (experience with newer versions is a strong advantage)
- Experience working with ERP or CRM systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or Sage
- Proven experience engaging with suppliers and resolving invoicing discrepancies (ReadSoft experience advantageous)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work accurately in a highly detailed, data-driven environment
- Previous experience within finance/accounts or regulated environments is beneficial
- CIPS qualification and experience with SAP Purchasing Modules (PR/PO/GRN/Planning) are desirable
