About Our Client
Our client is a leading company in defence and aerospace technology, specialising in cutting‑edge research, testing and innovation across multiple sectors. Key Responsibilities
- Verification and validation of composite structural and non‑structural components from coupon testing to large assemblies.
- Support the development of bonded and bolted composite joints and design of composite‑to‑metalwork interface.
- Lead engineering and technical activities to deliver specific projects, coordinate with project management, and manage quality, timescale and budget.
- Peer‑review engineering work packages and ensure safe, governance‑aligned delivery.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Mechanical or structural engineer with a composites background and proven track record in verification and validation using pre‑preg and resin infusion techniques.
- Experience in multidisciplinary project teams and structural design to recognised codes (Maritime or Civil).
- Academic background: BEng/MEng in Mechanical/Structural Engineering; working towards Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
- UK nationality and ability to obtain relevant security clearance.
