An established UK-based organisation delivering technical and engineering-led services across construction, infrastructure, and the built environment is seeking a Site Engineer to join its geo-technical team. Operating nationwide, the business supports a wide range of projects with a strong focus on safety, quality, and practical delivery on site.
Geo-technical Site Engineer
Location: Glasgow
Applicants: must have a geo-technical, geological, or Earth Sciences background, with exposure to site investigation works.
Role type
This is a fully site-based role, ideal for a Site Engineer with 6 to 12 months\\\’ experience who is looking to develop hands-on skills within site investigations and civil engineering works, working closely with experienced engineers on live projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the delivery of site investigations and day-to-day site operations
- Support senior engineers with planning, organisation, and supervision of site activities
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Maintain clear communication with office-based teams and site management
- Contribute to site records, reporting, monitoring, and technical documentation
Skills & Experience Required
- 6 to 12 months\\\’ experience in a site engineering or site investigation role
- Degree-qualified in Earth Sciences, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Basic understanding of site engineering practices and project delivery
- Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Well organised, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a site team
