Overview
An established UK-based organisation providing specialist engineering and technical services across construction, infrastructure, and the built environment is seeking an Experienced Site Engineer to join its geo-technical delivery team. Operating on projects nationwide, the business is known for its practical, safety-led approach and its involvement in complex ground investigation and civil engineering works.
This is a fully site-based role suited to a Site Engineer with 2 to 3 years\' experience in site investigation contracting. You will take a more hands‑on role in managing site activities, supervising works, and supporting the successful delivery of projects, working closely with senior engineers and directors.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and oversee site investigations in accordance with project specifications and programmes
- Assist with the planning, organisation, and day‑to‑day management of site operations
- Ensure all site activities comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery
- Monitor site performance, progress, and KPIs, reporting regularly to senior stakeholders
- Provide technical input to problem solving, site execution, and engineering decisions
Skills & Experience Required
- 2 to 3 years\' experience within site investigation contracting
- Degree-qualified in Earth Sciences, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of site engineering practices, logistics, and contract delivery
- Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Confident communicator with good organisational and problem‑solving skills
