Overview
Manpower are currently looking for experienced FLT Drivers who hold both a Reach and a Counterbalance licence to work for our busy distribution client based in Leicester.
Role: FLT Driver (Counterbalance and Reach)
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00
Pay: Β£13.59 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm
Location: LE3 1DN
Main duties
- Handling of palletised products
- Removal and retrieval of palletised goods
- Stacking and loading pallets on and off trailers
- Putting pallets into line feeder for production purposes
Pre-Employment / Progression
Candidates who are successful at pre-screen stage will need to complete the following before any permanent roles are offered:
- On Site Interview
- FLT Assessment
- Minimum 12 weeks assignment (including 2 weeks training)
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in FLT work
- Must have a valid B1 Counterbalance and D1 Reach FLT Licence
- B3 Licence is preferred however not essential
- Flexible approach to work
- Strong communication skills
- Awareness of health and safety practices in the workplace
- Previous warehouse experience
- Valid Forklift Truck licence
