Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Construction Manager to oversee a multi-discipline project currently underway in Aspatria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation construction. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and contractual requirements, and maintaining clear communication between all project stakeholders.

General Responsibilities

  • Act as the owner\'s representative on site (supported by Project Manager).
  • Manage, coordinate, and supervise all contractors and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and safety regulations.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Safety Management

  • Enforce company safety and health plans.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and briefings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards (supported by company safety team).

Construction Phase Responsibilities

  • Manage all construction activities on site across multiple disciplines.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular reports.
  • Support cost management, including tracking expenditures and reporting variances.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing multi-discipline construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation construction.
  • Own laptop (email address will be arranged) and mobile phone (costs covered by company or via pay-as-you-go).
  • Own vehicle for site travel.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
