£15.12 per hour
Temporary with the opportunity to become permanent

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the delivery vehicle, adhering to business standards and protocols.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA regulations.
• Perform white goods deliveries, accompanied by a driver\’s mate.
• Execute home deliveries, transporting items to the customer\’s room of choice, including handling items to high‑floor residences.
• Execute kerbside deliveries, handing off items directly to individuals on building sites.
• Deliver a range of white goods (e.g., dishwashers, washing machines, fridges), kitchen units, and worktops.
• Manage multidrop deliveries, with the number of stops varying daily.
• Use a handheld scanner and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Maintain physical fitness essential for the nature of the work.
• Communicate effectively and maintain a positive demeanour during customer interactions.

Requirements

• Class 2 HGV licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• No more than six penalty points on licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience.
• Prior multidrop delivery experience.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
• A can‑do attitude.
