Software Engineer required to join an Oxfordshire based company developing control software for some of the world’s largest telescopes, particle accelerators, and high energy physics projects. Work with leading scientists and engineers on innovative, real-world applications.

As Software Engineer Responsibilities Include:

• Design, develop, and maintain software for accelerator facilities
• Work with the EPICS toolkit in a Linux environment
• Develop software in C++, C, or Python
• Collaborate with world-class researchers and engineers
• Travel to client facilities in the UK, Europe, and the USA

What You’ll Need:

• A degree in science, engineering, or a related field (Masters/PhD a plus!)
• 2-5 years of experience in scientific/technical software development
• Strong coding skills in C++, C, or Python (Linux experience required)
• Passion for physics, astronomy, or engineering
• Bonus points for experience with real-time software, hardware interaction, or control systems
