Our client's IT team in Bournemouth is seeking a temporary Software Engineer for a 3-month contract to support critical projects and the growing needs of the combined institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Internal Systems Development: Collaborate with the existing Software Developer to maintain and develop various internal systems, including a bespoke CRM system.
- Systems Integration: Work on critical projects to consolidate and integrate systems across two sites, establishing single sources of truth and eliminating duplication and manual processes.
- Cloud Migration Preparation: Prepare for migration to a cloud-based records system and integrate it with existing systems.
- External Applications Integration: Integrate internal systems with new hosted external application systems and SaaS-based systems.
Key Skills:
- Relational Databases: MS SQL, MySQL, Mongo.
- Programming/Frameworks: PHP, Java, JavaScript Spring Boot, React.
- Source Code Management: Git.
- Systems Integration: APIs, workflows.
