An IT Security Service Engineer is required by a national and growing IT Managed Service Provider based in Carlisle .

As an IT Security Service Engineer , you will be responsible for planning, implementing, testing, inspecting, and maintaining customer security systems.

Your Tasks Will Include:

  • Installing and maintaining data network and WiFi infrastructures, CCTV, and door access control systems.
  • Surveying, designing, implementing, and testing security systems while adhering to all statutory and legal requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with fire alarm systems.
  • Providing IT technical support to customers as needed.
  • Installing Access Control using Paxton systems.
  • Liaising with our IT Service Delivery team to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.

Experience Required:

  • At least 1 year of experience in installing and maintaining data network and WiFi infrastructures, CCTV, and door access control systems.
  • IT Technical Support experience to include testing security systems in industrial, domestic, and commercial settings.
  • A full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Willingness to work away from home for short periods as required.
  • Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
