An Controls Engineer (Robotics) is required by a market leader in robotics and aerospace, based Hybrid with travel to Dorchester & Bristol.
The Role: Controls Engineer experienced with Fanuc robots. Responsibilities include:
- Programming and commissioning Fanuc robots.
- Developing software for various platforms (Fanuc, Kuka, Beckhoff, Siemens PLCs).
- Debugging electrical issues.
- Working on diverse projects.
- Traveling to client sites, including defence.
Hybrid role with travel to Bristol and Dorchester. Must be a British Citizen and able to obtain Developed Vetting security clearance.
Essential Skills:
- 3+ years programming Fanuc robots.
- STEM degree in engineering.
- Experience with Roboguide.
- Strong technical communication in English.
- Quick learner and problem solver.
- Electrical issue diagnosis.
- Willingness to travel.
Desirable Skills:
- Siemens S7 PLCs and TIA Portal.
- PLC programming (ST essential).
