We’re Hiring: Experienced Fire Door Estimator. As a Fire Door Estimator, you’ll play a critical role in our operations team—analysing drawings, specifications, and site information to provide accurate, competitive quotations for fire door installation and remedial works. You’ll work closely with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth transitions from tender to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for fire door projects
- Interpret architectural plans and fire strategy reports
- Liaise with clients and suppliers for materials and pricing
- Support project handovers and provide technical insights
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety regulations and products
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of fire door specifications and relevant legislation (e.g. BS 8214, BM TRADA, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
