My client is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a well-established market leading technology business based in Hayes. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for a vital part of the supply chain process, processes and systems, in order to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately, and that productivity targets are met. The right candidate should have a hands-on approach in this high-volume pick/pack order processing operation.

Warehouse Supervisor package and responsibilities:

  • Β£35,000 - Β£40,000 base salary depending on experience
  • A small team of 5 – the successful candidates will have 3 direct reports
  • This is very much a hands-on role and one that needs someone who can lead from example by rolling up their sleeves when needed to get the job done
  • Inventory stock control and administration, ensuring all goods are received in a timely manner
  • Perform daily cycle counts to ensure stock levels are accurate
  • Maintain and improve operational systems, processes, and best practices
  • Ensure all operational processes comply with company policies, health and safety requirements and legal regulations
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency

Warehouse Supervisor requirements:

  • Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations (First Aid/Fire Safety)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and ERP management systems (Oracle)
  • Forklift licence
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to delegate
