A nationwide auto electrical installation company, offering a full supply and installation service for telematics, cameras, and other aftermarket vehicle products, is currently looking to recruit Auto Electrician / Installation Engineers based anywhere in the UK.

You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of vehicles—from domestic cars and fleet vehicles to light commercials, bus & coach, heavy goods vehicles, and everything in between. Plus, you'll be working alongside some of the best engineers in the industry!

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 based salary depending on your experience and location

Vehicle, tools and uniform provided

As a Field Engineer, you will be at the heart of the business, representing both the company and their clients. Your role will involve the daily installation of high-quality ancillary equipment, from basic telematics to advanced vehicle CCTV systems. Exemplary customer service and professionalism are essential, as you will be representing my client throughout your working day.

Field Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with telematics and other CCTV vehicle technology
  • Using a laptop/iPad to report and document installations
  • Identifying and resolving installation issues
  • Holding NPPV security clearance/DBS check (desirable)
  • Knowledge of auto electrical installations and industry standards (full training also provided)
  • Auto Electrical/Light Vehicle qualification (desirable)
