A nationwide auto electrical installation company, offering a full supply and installation service for telematics, cameras, and other aftermarket vehicle products are currently looking to recruit Auto Electrician / Installation Engineers based anywhere in the UK.
You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of vehicles—from domestic cars and fleet vehicles to light commercials, bus & coach, heavy goods vehicles, and everything in between. Plus, you'll be working alongside some of the best engineers in the industry!
- Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 based salary depending on your experience.

As a Field Engineer, you will be at the heart of the business, representing both the company and their clients. Your role will involve the daily installation of high-quality ancillary equipment, from basic telematics to advanced vehicle CCTV systems. Exemplary customer service and professionalism are essential, as you will be representing my client throughout your working day.
Field Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Installing aftermarket equipment safely and efficiently
- Working with telematics and other CCTV vehicle technology
- Using a laptop/iPad to report and document installations
- Identifying and resolving installation issues
- Mentoring apprentices (desirable)
- Holding NPPV security clearance/DBS check (desirable)
- Ensuring safe driving and setting an example for others
- Adhering to Health & Safety regulations and company values
Qualifications & Experience:
- Knowledge of auto electrical installations and industry standards (full training also provided)
- Auto Electrical/Light Vehicle qualification (desirable; transferable skills considered)
