This Stores Person role is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and recording the traceability of all raw materials, fluids, equipment, spares, tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), consumables, and client-supplied products on the site. The ideal Stores Person applicant should have experience working in a busy Parts Department.

Stores Person responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and courteous counter service for personnel calling in at stores to collect items.
  • Issue materials to the Technicians, ensuring that all paperwork is signed off correctly.
  • Purchase all critical parts from suppliers as and when required.
  • Pick and pack stock orders ready for delivery to outstations.
  • Ensure parts are correctly added into SAP.
  • Generate daily report showing the due dates of all critical parts orders.
  • Check and receive deliveries to site using IT system.
  • Participate in stock counts and reconciliation against inventory as directed.
  • Ensure stock items have correct identification labels attached.
  • Ensure full traceability of all stored materials/items.
