Our client, a fast-growing firm in the financial services sector, is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant & Portfolio Coordinator to support their CEO/founder and leadership team in London. This is a hands-on, high-impact hybrid role combining senior-level executive support with portfolio coordination, financial exposure, and operational responsibility. The role is ideal for an ambitious candidate eager to deepen their experience within the finance and investment space while working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executive & Operational Support
- Manage complex diaries and scheduling across multiple time zones
- Coordinate travel, logistics, and high-level internal and external meetings
- Act as a key point of contact for internal teams, investors, and external stakeholders
- Prepare presentations, reports, and executive documentation
- Portfolio & Financial Coordination
- Assist with tracking the firm’s investment portfolio, including summarising quarterly fund reports
- Attend and take notes in internal investment meetings and selected industry events
- Support internal financial models and reporting by inputting, updating, and maintaining data in Excel
- Review financial documents and extract key insights for internal use
- Marketing & Industry Engagement
- Support ongoing marketing initiatives and digital content
- Monitor relevant industry trends, events, and news to share insights with the team
Key Requirements:
- Experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced, professional environment
- Bachelor’s degree required (finance, economics, business, or a related discipline strongly preferred)
- Exposure to financial services, investments, or a numerate, analytical environment
- Strong Excel skills with confidence working with financial data and models
- Highly organised, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interest in the finance industry with a clear desire to learn and take on increasing responsibility
- International exposure and fluency in an additional European language are advantageous
Location & Package:
London | Onsite (5 days) £45,000 – £60,000 DOE (Higher end for candidates with stronger financial experience or formal finance education)
