Job Introduction

You will grow revenue and profit by targeting Test, Measurement and Inspection (TMI) Customers in our specialist sectors.

In delivering this you will be providing commercial leadership and technical direction to support the growth strategy, building upon the excellent reputation and existing business activities within the UK Markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Being part of a Team focused on achieving annual revenue targets.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of a business plan for market penetration and growth: targeting TMI solutions to the UK Energy, Transport, Industry, Process and Civil infrastructure sectors, with specific focus on Electrical and High Voltage applications.
  • Focused on developing existing customers and targeting new customers, including building relationships with key decision makers and technical influencers within these customers.
  • Delivery of excellent customer service focused on TMI solutions, adopting an innovative approach, both technically and commercially, and delivering cost effective results for the customer, exceeding their expectations.
  • Ensuring effective use and management of our CRM system for the division, to facilitate customer analysis and proactive Marketing.
  • Ability to demonstrate a range of products at customers’ locations, carried out in accordance with their established safety practices, rules and regulations.
  • Monitoring of financial and non‑financial objectives to enhance business performance via regular meetings with the Business Development Director.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Exceptional sales and Test, Measurement & Inspection product knowledge and experience, specifically with Electrical and High Voltage Test equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of a technical or commercial BDM position within a business providing products and services to relevant industries.
  • Experience of creating and contributing to innovative complex tender winning submissions.
  • Energy and drive able to change pace quickly.
  • Able to travel freely / valid driving licence.
  • Competent IT Skills.
