The Travel & Expenses Analyst is responsible for managing, auditing, and optimizing employee travel and expense processes. This role ensures compliance with company policies, improves cost efficiency, and supports employees with expense-related queries while maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, audit, and process employee expense claims in line with company policies
- Monitor travel and expense spending trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and audit requirements
- Administer and maintain Concur, the expense management system
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, exceptions, and policy violations
- Provide guidance and support to employees on expense policies and procedures
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Procurement teams to improve T&E processes
- Prepare regular reports on divisional travel spend, policy compliance, and key metrics
- Conduct both group and divisional analysis on spending trends, cross checking both Concur and Perk platforms
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Strong Microsoft Excel Skills including interpreting data by creating pivot tables, using vlookup’s and macros
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong sense of urgency and of responsibility
- Experience with expense management tools, specifically Concur, is desirable
