The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Provides leadership, commercial insight and direction to all activities in specialist markets targeting Survey customers and applications. With some P&L responsibility, you will take a lead role in delivering a growth strategy which will build upon the excellent reputation and existing business activities within the UK markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of a business plan for market penetration and growth, providing fully integrated and innovative Survey solutions to all UK markets including construction, infrastructure, housing and digital construction sectors.
  • Evaluate current commercial performance and recommend as part of the business plan new strategies for performance improvements.
  • Development of existing and new customers.
  • Working with the business sales resources (RAMs NKAMs etc.) to develop the key accounts.
  • Delivery of excellent customer service focused on total solutions, which concentrate on an innovative approach and delivering cost effective results for the customer whilst exceeding their expectations.
  • Ensure effective use and management of our CRM system for the division.
  • Further development and improvement to existing services provided to our customers, particularly concerning the rental of products.
  • Operational activities at customers' locations carried out in accordance with their established safety practices, rules and regulations.
  • Achievement of agreed budgeted profit levels.
  • Monitoring of financial and non-financial objectives to enhance business performance.
  • When considered necessary or appropriate by management you may be required to carry out any duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business.

What We're Looking For

  • Exceptional sales and Survey product knowledge and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of a technical or commercial BDM position within a business providing products and services to relevant industries.
  • Experience of creating and contributing to innovative complex tender winning submissions.
  • Energy and drive able to change pace quickly.
  • Able to travel freely / valid driving licence.
  • Educated to reasonable level: (e.g. HNC / HND).
  • Competent IT Skills.
  • Be confident in communicating to people of all levels of the business.
  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent knowledge and experience in business or engineering (desirable).
  • Significant experience in the hire sector (desirable).
