Hire Controller

Hire Controller – Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming telephone calls and emails from customers, providing prompt and professional service.
• Process on-hire and off-hire requests using our dedicated hire management system with a high level of accuracy.
• Prepare and issue hire quotations based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate with operational depots and the transport team to arrange equipment deliveries, collections and exchanges.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
• Maintain accurate records of customer activity, hire information and system data.
• Assist with checking product availability and support depot stock control processes.
• Help resolve any service issues or queries efficiently and escalates when required.

Qualifications

• Excellent telephone manner and strong customer service skills.
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment.
• Basic computer literacy – MS Office/Outlook skills.
• Knowledge of G42 or other similar hire rental asset management systems advantageous.
• Knowledge of hire industry/construction advantageous.
