From temporary roadways to rail access, our drivers provide solutions designed for speed, safety, and efficiency to keep every project on track, no matter the terrain Due to recent expansion TPA are now looking for confident and capable Class 1 or Class 2 drivers that are looking for an opportunity to join our existing team in Swindon. Class 2 drivers will be offered the opportunity to become Class 1 licence holders, fully funded by TPA. Working away Monday-Friday most weeks with the Portable Roadway Operative, our Driver Operatives not only deliver our temporary roadway solutions to site but also install them so experience within a similar role would be a huge advantage. If not, do you have experience of using lorry mounted crane or lorry loader as we can offer the right individual the training required for you to be able to install our custom roadway solution. Driving is only a part of this role so if you\’re looking for something fully immersive, that gives you full control and responsibility of what you do coupled with excellent development opportunities to really expand your operational skillset, this is the opportunity you\’ve been looking for. Safely load, transport, install, and recover equipment and hire fleet Inspect, maintain and clean vehicles, trailers, cranes, and all equipment Carry out daily risk assessments and checks before operations Coordinate with customers, Stock Controller, and Logistics on schedules, site plans, and requirements Confirm daily panel movements and process all dispatches/collections through M42 system Log deliveries, recoveries and site checks on tickets signed by the customer Maintain and submit all legal and company paperwork accurately and on time HGV C+E licence (Class 1) or HGV C licence (Class 2) – Essential Comfortable with the physical installation phase of the role (training given for this to the right individual) Current valid CPC Training Card Experience of using a lorry loaded crane (Hiab etc) – Advantageous Working away Monday-Friday, a flexible approach to working hours is essential Being an integral part of a two person team, comfortable sharing the cab night and day Must live within a commutable distance from the Swindon depot Developmental salary structure depending on Licence held and experience Fully funded Class 1 training for Class 2 drivers Role training for the right individual Salary sacrifice pension 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays Additional holiday purchase scheme Free Tool Hire Life Assurance cover 3x salary Share save scheme Eye care vouchers Recommend a friend scheme Learning & Development – commitment to upskilling and developing our people, structured in house training available alongside external training where required Cycle to work scheme Long service recognition My Vp discounts – a variety of discounts and rewards on thousands of well-known brands Discounts on HP products EE mobile contract discount offers Gym discounts Health Shield (discounted premiums on health care cash plan) We specialise in providing versatile access equipment for various industries while prioritising health and safety.
