Reporting to the National Technical Manager (Lifting), you will organise the diaries of the LOLER Inspection Team, complete post inspection paperwork, and be the main customer point of contact in relation to LOLER (Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations) inspections that we carry out.
We operate Nationwide with a network of branches/depots hiring out equipment. As part of our service to our customers we provide this inspection service which requires booking in, planning inspector diaries and also mobile engineers where equipment requires repair work as a result of the inspections. It is fair to say that no day looks the same as this a busy and essential operation in MEP Hire, you will be communicating with internal departments and also our customers to ensure a seamless and organised service has been provided.
Key Responsibilities- Planning inspections of MEP owned & Customer owned assets within the MEP Branch Network locations
- Organising the diary of multiple inspectors / engineers
- Running and maintaining scheduled and ad hoc daily reports
- Maintaining daily spreadsheet updates
- When considered necessary or appropriate by management you may be required to carry out other duties considered within your skill and competence levels to assist the smooth running of the business.
- Experience of working in an administrative role, attention to detail & accuracy
- The ability to be organised and calm, managing a busy day to day workload
- Real customer focus with both internal stakeholders and external customers
- Ability to understand needs, problem solve and deliver business critical services
- Good analytical, validation and evaluation skills.
- Experience of working with customers, an understanding of what good customer service looks like over the telephone or by email.
