Overview
We\’re looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our team, providing essential reporting, data analysis, and administrative support across a variety of business areas. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced dynamic team, where you\’ll contribute to business performance reporting, processes, and operational improvements. You\’ll play a key role in supporting the Finance Business Partner, taking ownership of routine reports (including month-end analysis), and providing valuable insights that help drive business decisions. You\’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team, liaising with multiple departments while developing your commercial, analytical, and reporting skills.
Responsibilities
- Compile, validate, and distribute monthly KPIs and weekly reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for routine and month-end reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across financial and operational metrics.
- Work closely with the Finance Business Partner to deliver insightful analysis and business support across key areas.
- Support data validation, auditing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure process integrity and compliance.
- Contribute to business investigations and analysis projects, providing clear, data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
- Provide administrative support for key finance processes, data management, and process documentation.
- Assist with scheduling and operational planning, ensuring the efficient coordination of mobile fitters and field-based teams.
- Collaborate with the wider Finance Team to support ongoing projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional activities.
- Support the customer pricing process, ensuring updates are accurately maintained and communicated.
- Demonstrate strong numeracy and analytical skills with confidence in working with financial and operational data.
Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality reports and validate key business information.
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning) and ideally experience with data manipulation and visualisation tools such as Power Query, SQL and Tableau.
- Organised and adaptable — able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under varying month-end workloads.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Education: Degree level (or strong A-Levels) or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in an office, finance, or analytical environment.
