Support Worker Role in NR31 Great Yarmouth
VP Forensic is recruiting for a support worker in the NR31 Great Yarmouth area.
Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be UK residents living within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas applicants.
Requirements:
- Full working rights in the UK (VP does not offer sponsorship)
- Caring, patient, and empathetic nature
- Motivation to make a difference to our clients
- Experience supporting clients with an Acquired Brain Injury and Complex Behaviours, or relevant care experience
Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality, person-centered support to clients
- Supporting clients in achieving their rehabilitation and development goals
- Moving and handling via hoisting
- Assisting with daily living tasks and engaging in meaningful activities
- Supporting access to engaging community activities
- Providing personal care and physical support respectfully and with dignity
- Working under the supervision of a multidisciplinary team
- Managing complex behaviors and risks
Additional Benefits:
- £12.00 per hour + holiday pay + pension
- Referral bonus: £200 for supporting a new worker, £300 for referring an RMN/RNLD
- Comprehensive training to develop your skills and support future career/educational pursuits
All successful candidates will require an enhanced DBS check, if not already registered on the update service. Two satisfactory references are also required.
