Female Support workers only: This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 as there is a genuine occupational need to recruit Females due to the nature of the role. We are looking for highly motivated, skilled, and reliable Female Support Workers in the Nottingham - NG5 Area. This would be to support a female client with cerebral palsy.

Shift times are as follows:

  • Tuesday 15:30-22:00
  • Wednesday 15:30-22:00

£14 per hour

You will need:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent English
  • A strong-willed character with the ability to show empathy and a consistent approach to behaviours presented
  • A good understanding and knowledge about cerebral palsy
  • Full working rights (We do not offer sponsorship)

Your role would include:

  • Accessing the community
  • Supporting with daily living tasks including cooking and domestic duties
  • Maintaining daily records
  • Motivating and encouraging the client to achieve goals
  • Supporting with social visits
  • Promoting independence and building confidence
  • Going out activities
  • Moving and handling and personal care
