VP Forensic are recruiting for a support worker role in the Norfolk area. This is to support a male client with a Brain Injury and Complex Behaviour.
Male Support workers only: This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 as there is a genuine occupational need to recruit Males due to the nature of the role.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Providing high quality person centred support to our clients
- Supporting our client with working toward their rehabilitation/development goals
- Supporting with daily living tasks and engaging in fulfilling and meaningful activities with our clients
- Providing support to access the community that are engaging and fun for our clients
- Working under the supervision and guidance of the multi-disciplinary team
- Managing complex behaviour and risk presented
Shifts: Days to be confirmed. 18 Hours per week.
You will need:
- Full UK Drivers License (Required)
- Business Insurance (Preferred)
- Caring, patient and empathetic nature
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent English
- Motivation to make a difference to our clients
- Experience of supporting clients with an Acquired Brain Injury and Complex Behaviours, or some form of care experience to meet a specific level of knowledge
- Full working rights in the UK (VP do not offer sponsorship)
Pay: Β£14 per hour

All successful candidates will require an enhanced DBS check, if not already registered on the update service. You will also be required to supply two satisfactory references.
