We are on the search for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers for an exciting opportunity to work with our female client with an Acquired Brain Injury in the Clayton West area of Huddersfield.

The role includes:

  • Supporting rehab goals and personal development
  • Helping with day-to-day tasks and meaningful activities
  • Getting out into the community (think social trips, activities, and more)
  • Encouraging independence while supporting personal care when needed
  • Working alongside family and healthcare professionals to keep everything running smoothly

Hours (with flexibility):

  • Tuesday - 16:30 - 21:30
  • Thursday - 7am-9am, 15:00-16:30
  • Friday - 7:30am-9:30am, 14:30-21:30
  • Saturday and Sunday - 9:00am-16:00

Requirements:

  • A driver is essential as the role includes taking the client out in the community. Mileage whilst with the client is paid at 45p per mile.
  • Business insurance and Full UK driver's license
  • Willing to travel with client and client family, on trips away if booked
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude

The MDT working with the client will also offer training from time to time and you will be required to attend. This is a great opportunity to learn from a multitude of professions and enhance your experience and knowledge. All candidates would be required to undertake a DBS, reference and right to work checks as well as ensuring all mandatory training is completed.
