Overview
Due to continued growth, ESS—part of the Vp plc group—are seeking an experienced Survey Equipment Service Technician with prior Leica Geosystems training and certification to join our busy and dynamic workshop team in Castleford.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives on technical challenges and takes pride in precision. You’ll be responsible for the service, repair, and calibration of Leica survey equipment, including Robotic Total Stations, GPS/GNSS systems, Laser Scanners, Rotating Lasers, and Site Levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and calibration of a variety of survey instruments to manufacturer or company standards
- Work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision
- Perform ad hoc workshop duties as required
- Maintain accurate servicing records using in-house software
- Meet turnaround deadlines and customer requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

- Proven experience working with Leica Geosystems equipment
