Voyago is now hiring School Bus Drivers in Grey Bruce for the 2026/2027 school year! This position may include daily laughs, unforgettable stories, and surprise singalongs! Need your mid-days free? Your role:

  • Safely transport students within your community to and from school, ensuring a reliable and positive experience each day.
  • Prioritize student safety at all times, including during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicle.
  • Conduct thorough pre and post trip inspections to ensure the bus remains in proper and safe operating condition.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the bus, including assisting with fueling and basic upkeep to present a well kept, professional vehicle.
  • Accurately complete daily Hours of Service reports and maintain required documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Immediately report any mechanical issues or concerns affecting the safe operation of the vehicle.
  • Address and report any student behaviour issues in a timely and professional manner, following company procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with safety practices, policies, and regulations.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and care while fostering a safe and respectful environment for all passengers.

Your profile:

  • You are safety focused.
  • You hold a valid minimum full G class drivers license for at least 1 year.
  • If you don’t currently hold a B or E Class licence, Voyago has you covered, full training is provided at no cost to you!
  • You are 21 years of age or over.
  • You are a safe driver with a clean driving record.
  • You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening.
  • You have a sound knowledge of Grey Bruce and surrounding areas.
  • You have the ability to work independently.
  • You are available for the required shifts: Monday to Friday approximately 6:30am to 9:30am AND 1:30pm to 4:30pm (Start and end times will vary depending on the specific details of each route).
  • You possess solid communication skills.
  • You enjoy being around children of all ages.
  • You are comfortable driving in all types of weather and road conditions.
  • You are comfortable driving large vehicles.
