Job Overview: Patient Transport is hiring for a full-time entry level position as a Stretcher Attendant to fill an existing vacancy for our Selkirk region. No experience is necessary to join our growing company, as we offer extensive training to prepare you to transfer patients. Being a Stretcher Attendant is an active and rewarding career, working as a team to help those in need of our services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinating with your partner to provide excellent customer service to patients
  • Transferring stable patients between medical facilities
  • Taking patients home after a medical stay
  • Liaising with medical professionals
  • Documenting patient information and all relevant information related to the transport
  • Engaging with patients throughout the transfer
  • Monitoring patients and responding to their needs
  • Communicating with Dispatch
  • Following all Safety protocols and procedures
