Voyageur Publishing & Events is seeking an experienced B2B Senior Editor and News Writer to join our growing Bristol-based team. This is a hybrid role combining in-office collaboration with flexible remote working.
The role
You will lead the editorial direction of one of our magazines, planning, commissioning and writing accurate, industry-relevant, commercially effective content (news and features) across digital and print formats for our global audience. This position requires intellectual rigour and a deep understanding of how the right content drives measurable business outcomes. You will also be writing breaking news across the portfolio as required.
Key responsibilities
- Lead content strategy for the magazine, informed by industry trends, commercial objectives and market positioning, working closely with our sales and marketing teams to translate complex material into compelling B2B communications.
- Research, commission, edit and refine long- and short-form content for both daily and breaking news and regular print editions throughout the year (with plans to increase the number of issues).
- Ensure technical accuracy, regulatory awareness, and brand alignment.
- Oversee editorial quality control and mentor junior writers.
Required experience
- Significant editorial experience ideally in a B2B setting.
- Demonstrable commercial awareness and success.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and subject-matter experts.
- Experience of working across global markets.
What we offer
- Hybrid working model (Bristol office base).
- £45K/yr – £50K/yr aligned to experience.
- Occasional international travel to attend events (both our own and our partners').
