Voyage Learning Campus is seeking a committed and resilient Transition and Engagement Worker to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This is a vital role supporting students both within our Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) and those reintegrating into mainstream education. Key Responsibilities: • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with emotional, behavioural, or learning needs. • Facilitate smooth transitions for students moving back into mainstream schools, including in-class support and visits. • Work closely with teachers, parents/carers, and external agencies to support student engagement. • Support classroom activities, plan interventions, and contribute to behaviour and well-being strategies. • Occasionally transport students to and from school activities or visits. We are looking for someone who has: • A minimum of 3 GCSEs including Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above). • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting. • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students. • A calm, flexible, and professional approach. • The ability to work independently across multiple school sites.
