Voyage Learning Campus is seeking a skilled and compassionate Maths and Science Teacher to join our team in Weston-super-Mare. This is a fixed-term position from 2nd September 2025 to 31 August 2026, pending staffing review. The role involves delivering Maths and Science lessons to students with diverse needs in an alternative provision setting, supporting students with SEND, and working closely with families and external agencies.
About Us: Voyage Learning Campus provides education for young people unable to attend mainstream school due to medical reasons or exclusion, focusing on a nurturing environment and tailored curriculum.
The Role:
- Deliver GCSE and other accredited outcomes in Maths and Science to small groups or individuals
- Support students with SEND using inclusive teaching methods
- Be a tutor for a small cohort, providing academic and pastoral guidance
- Contribute to curriculum planning and development
- Collaborate with families, external agencies, and the multidisciplinary team

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree
- Teaching experience across various settings
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum in Maths and Science
- Understanding of behaviour management and trauma-informed practice
