Voyage Financial Planning is a growing independent Financial Planning and Mortgage practice based in Romsey, Hampshire. As our Financial Planning business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join the firm and become a key part of our wealth team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of financial planning, wants to work closely with advisers and support staff, and is looking to build a long-term career within an ambitious and growing practice.

Role Purpose The Paraplanner will provide high-quality technical and research support to our Financial Advisers, taking ownership of suitability reports, research and case preparation. You will work closely with the advisers, Financial Planning Processor and wider administration team to ensure recommendations are well researched, clearly documented and progressed efficiently. The role will initially involve working alongside our existing Paraplanner, allowing for a smooth transition of casework, processes and technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities Prepare clear, accurate and high-quality suitability reports. Undertake detailed research across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning. Analyse existing client arrangements and provider information. Prepare financial planning recommendations for adviser review. Support pension consolidation, investment, drawdown and retirement planning cases. Produce cashflow modelling reports using Finn Calc Work closely with Financial Advisers to understand client objectives and proposed recommendations. Liaise with the Financial Planning Processor and administration team to ensure cases progress smoothly. Review information received through Letters of Authority and identify any further information required. Maintain accurate client records and case notes. Ensure all work meets internal compliance and regulatory standards. Support annual review work where technical input is required. Manage and prioritise your own report pipeline. Help identify opportunities to improve paraplanning processes and turnaround times. Contribute to the continued development of the Financial Planning department.

Experience & Qualifications Ideally a Minimum 12 months paraplanning experience. Experience preparing suitability reports. Good working knowledge of pensions and investments. Strong research and analytical skills. Excellent written communication. Strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines. Comfortable working closely with advisers and administration teams. Commitment to delivering excellent client outcomes. Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, or working towards completion. Experience with cashflow modelling. Experience with pension drawdown and retirement planning.

Salary & Benefits Β£35,000 basic salary, depending on experience. 5% employer pension contribution. 5 weeks annual leave plus
