All Saints is a wonderfully diverse and vibrant school, providing high quality education from nursery to Year 6; nearly 40 languages are spoken in our pupils’ homes, and the school is very popular in the local area, with most year-groups full and often over-subscribed. However, due to falling birth rates across Bradford, like many schools, All Saints is currently consulting on the possibility of reducing its PAN from 90 to 60 from the September 2024 reception intake. The high number of staff (around 27 teaching staff and 100 associate staff) reflects the larger than average size of the school.
The successful candidate will work under the instruction and guidance of teachers or senior staff to undertake work, care and support programmes that will enable our pupils to access learning and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. This role is to provide classroom and small group support, primarily within the class. It is essential that applicants have appropriate literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English and Maths grades A-C or the equivalent) and have extensive experience of working with children who have complex needs in a school or other organisation.
