Job Description
This is a full time, maternity cover post with a preferred start date of September 1st 2026. We are seeking a warm and nurturing EYFS Class Teacher to join our early years team. The successful candidate will foster a stimulating learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. You will plan and deliver engaging, child‑centred lessons in line with the EYFS Framework, ensuring high-quality provision that supports every child’s development across all areas of learning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality learning experiences that meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and enabling classroom environment.
  • Supporting children’s personal, social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate observations and records to track progress.
  • Ensuring safeguarding, welfare, and wellbeing remain at the centre of practice.
