TigerCubs Day Nursery are looking for a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The successful applicant will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with the ability to use their own initiative, working 15 hours per week, across a rota, 40.6 weeks per year. The working hours would be Monday-Friday 11:00am-2:00pm.
The main duties of the role include:
- Ensuring the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.
- Working in partnership with parents and fellow colleagues.
- Maintaining child development and observation records.
- Following and implementing all policies and procedures set out by the nursery.
- Ensuring the key person approach is fully instilled in everyday practice.
Applicants will need to demonstrate some recent experience in a childcare setting which can be referenced and be able to demonstrate their knowledge of the developmental and learning needs of young children. You will also need to be a positive role model to colleagues, students and visitors to the nursery.
The successful candidate will have the following:
