Cornwallis Academy is a ‘Good’ school on the outskirts of Loose, Maidstone with over 1300 students on roll aged 11 to 18. We are looking to appoint an outstanding Teacher who can inspire and excite students in their learning of Humanities, specifically across RE and History. You will be joining a well-resourced department that is driven in our focus on raising achievement. RE and History are both popular options at GCSE and Post-16 and the post offers outstanding opportunities for continuous personal and professional development for a highly motivated and ambitious teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an ECT or experienced teacher. As well as our state-of-the-art facilities, and innovative digital curriculum, we have an exciting programme of trips, visits, visitors and extra-curricular activities. Cornwallis Academy value positive working relationships and seek individuals who will support this ethos.
