GeneralRoles and Responsibilities:

Thisrole would be 5 days per week, AM only.

• Beresponsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in a given class orsubject(s) area – to be discussed.
• Beresponsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards inwork and conduct
• Treatpupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, andalways observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s professionalposition
• Workproactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners,parents/carers, governors, other staff and external agencies in the bestinterests of pupils
• Actwithin the statutory frameworks, which set out their professional duties andresponsibilities and in line with the duties outlined in the current SchoolTeachers Pay and Conditions Document and Teacher Standards (2012)
• Takeresponsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and youngpeople within the school
