Position Support Worker – Worksop - £13.46 per hour. Shifts are Monday to Sunday from 9:30pm until 7:30am.

About the Role
Your main responsibility is to provide night support to individuals in a residential setting, helping them to gain greater independence in daily life. You will work within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people, teaching new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging community participation, and organising activities. Typical activities include going out with residents in local pubs, playing video games, watching films, or going to the cinema.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide live support to residents during night shift
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities
- Teach and promote life skills to enhance independent living
- Encourage residents to access local communities and socialise
- Plan and facilitate recreational activities
- Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and give reflective practice reports
- Support residents with behaviour of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and trauma
Qualifications & Experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Resilient, flexible and composed approach
- Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support
- Experience following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
- Experience with individuals with behaviour of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and trauma
