Deputy Service Managers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We're currently searching for a fantastic Deputy Service Manager to join us in leading our residential service in Retford. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of colleagues to help people gain more independence in their daily lives.
  • Developing and implementing person‐centred support plans.
  • Conducting care needs assessments.
  • Recruiting and inducting new colleagues.
  • Completing supervisions, appraisals, medication competencies and medication audits.
  • Attending multi‐disciplinary meetings.
  • Completing reports and assisting the Registered Manager in the day‐to‐day management of our service.
  • Participating in the on‐call rota (subject to change depending on the needs of the service).

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a care management role.
  • Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Full UK manual driving licence.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, complex mental health needs, Prader‐Willi Syndrome, traumatic backgrounds and challenging behaviours.
