Support Worker – Wiveliscombe £13.56 per hour plus night enhancement. Typical shifts are 20:30 – 08:00, working three shifts a week including alternate weekends.

About the Role

Our residential service is a grade two listed building set in the beautiful rural location of Wiveliscombe. With its own orchard, log cabin art hub and pond, you can be sure that no two days will be the same! As a night support worker you’ll be enhancing the lives of people we support by assisting with bedtime routines, including personal care and completing regular checks throughout the night. You will also be expected to complete light domestic duties in any spare time.

Responsibilities

  • Assist people to gain more independence in their daily lives.
  • Support a fantastic group of people within a dynamic team.
  • Assist with bedtime routines, personal care and regular checks during the night.
  • Complete light domestic duties in any spare time.
  • Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
  • Respond to behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism and trauma.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support.
  • Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
  • Resilient, flexible and composed in approach.
