Are you an experienced bid professional with a passion for winning work that makes a real difference? We're looking for a Bid Manager to join our busy and ambitious tendering team, working on public sector bids within the health and social care sector.
Reporting to the Head of Bids and Tendering, you'll play a key role in developing high‐quality, compliant, and compelling tender submissions that showcase our value‐based approach and directly contribute to business growth.
The Role
As a Bid Manager, you'll lead and support bids from opportunity to submission, ensuring deadlines are met and standards are consistently high. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to gather information, shape responses and continuously improve our bid quality and win rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate end‐to‐end tender and bid submissions
- Produce clear, persuasive and fully compliant written responses
- Articulate our value‐based approach across all tender documents
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to source accurate, up‐to‐date information
- Maintain and contribute to a comprehensive tender information library
- Support tender reporting and performance monitoring
- Ensure all bids are delivered on time and to a high standard
- Drive continuous improvement in bidding processes and written quality
- Support the Head of Bids and Tendering in achieving team objectives
About You
You'll be an organised, detail‐focused professional who thrives under pressure and enjoys managing multiple priorities at once.
You'll have:
- A degree‐level qualification
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Experience and knowledge of public sector procurement, ideally within health and social care
- Strong IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven project management, planning and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach
- The ability to work independently and on your own initiative
- A commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering results
