Overview
Team Leader – Rochester – £13.59 per hour
Previous experience is essential as well as experience in working with Huntington Disease.
Typical shifts are: 40 hours per week, 3 long days per week for 2 weeks & 2 weeks 2 long days and 1 short shift.

Team Leaders with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Team Leader to join us in leading our residential service in Rochester. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!
Responsibilities
As a Team Leader with us you\\\’ll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, conducting supervision and appraisals, developing and updating care plans, ordering medication, ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances and day-to-day management of the service in the absence of the manager. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Team Leaders are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.
This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to the lives of others, whether that’s helping our colleagues grow in confidence or the people we support gain independence so that they meet their goals.
Qualifications
We’re interested in our Team Leader having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Team Leader should have previous experience in a similar role and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care. We require our candidates to have experience handling medication and delegating amongst a large staff team as well as experience working with individuals with acquired brain injury, complex individuals with mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and challenging behaviours.
